Mission Control, themes and callouts
These workspace tools help organize thinking and make important work easier to revisit. They appear only when available to your workspace and role.
Mission Control
Open Mission Control to see Boards and documents filed in the Mission Control folder. Choose New Board or an offered starter to create a visual working area. Use New Doc for an associated document.
A board can be used as a whiteboard while developing an idea and as a dashboard when presenting it. Add and arrange the supported elements, connect related material and keep the source documents accessible. A visual relationship does not grant someone permission to the underlying document.
Use Import YAML only with a compatible board definition. Review the imported layout and references before using it with your team. When sharing a board or exported view, check whether the audience can open its linked resources.
Themes
Themes, when enabled, organizes investment or sourcing theses. Open a theme to understand the opportunity it describes, its criteria and related targets or material. Use a theme to keep the reason for a search connected to the resulting companies.
A theme is a working hypothesis. Review its supporting evidence and revisit the criteria when new information changes the thesis. Keep a specific next step for promising targets in the relevant list or pipeline.
Callouts
Callouts brings together highlighted findings from documents. Use search, grouping and the List or Map view to inspect them. Open the underlying document before acting on a finding so you can read its context and evidence.
Where shown, Prioritized focuses on highlighted items, while All shows the broader set. Hide acknowledged can remove already acknowledged items from the view. Acknowledgment records that an item was seen; it does not prove that the underlying issue is resolved.
If an expected callout is absent, check the filters, hidden or acknowledged state and whether the feature is enabled for the workspace.
Process Wiki
The Process Wiki under More provides M&A process reference material. Use it for general context. It does not replace the current product instructions, your organization's approvals or transaction-specific professional advice.
