Search by description

  1. Open Sourcing → AI Metasearch.

  2. Describe the business activity, geography and size you want. Include exclusions that matter.

  3. Review the available result-count, filter and qualification controls. Check the credit indication before starting.

  4. Select Search and watch the running status. Use Stop Search if you need to stop the search; inspect results already returned before starting again.

  5. Review the company descriptions, domains and evidence. Where qualification is enabled, inspect the qualified, disqualified and pending results and their rationale.

  6. Select suitable results and add them to an existing list, create a new list, or add them to a pipeline using the available actions.

Example: “Independent industrial packaging manufacturers in northern Europe, with manufacturing operations and approximately 50–500 employees. Exclude distributors, design agencies and companies already owned by our group.”

Save useful searches where the Save control is available. Use a narrower search if results are too broad; separate incompatible business models into separate searches.

Search structured data

In Company DB, set the filters that matter and review the active-filter summary before searching. Check whether a filter refers to company headquarters, operations or another attribute. Select results only after confirming their identities.

In people search, verify the person's employer and role. Email reveal or enrichment can consume credits and may return incomplete or outdated information. A discovered address does not establish permission to contact that person.

Work the results

Move the shortlist to Companies and People lists for enrichment and review. Add the selected targets to Pipeline when they enter a deal process.

Search coverage is not exhaustive. Missing data and incomplete public sources can exclude relevant companies or produce false matches. Record material exclusions and perform a human check before treating a search as a complete market map.
