# Analyst channels and sent messages

When enabled, **Workspace → Analyst channels** lets you reach the workspace Analyst through the messaging options offered for your account. The page also shows channel status and related controls.

## Set up a channel

1. Confirm the workspace before opening **Analyst channels**.
2. Review the available channel, address and sender identity.
3. Complete the displayed setup and verification steps. Mobile channels can require a phone number, consent and a verification code.
4. Confirm the channel is enabled and use its supplied address or contact method.

Do not guess an email address or phone number from an example. Use the exact address displayed for your setup. A channel configured for one workspace should not be assumed to reach another.

## Give a clear request

State the task, relevant document or company, expected output and any limits. For example: “Prepare an internal summary of this week's pipeline changes and list the sources. Save it as a document; do not send it to external recipients.”

Review approval requests in **Your approval inbox** where available. An approval prompt is part of that action's workflow; sending an instruction does not establish that the action has completed.

Voice or avatar controls may also be available on this page. Enable them only when you intend to use that channel, and check the workspace context before discussing confidential information.

## Check delivery

Open **Workspace → Sent messages** to inspect platform email records available for the workspace. Review the recipient, status and any reported delivery failure. An accepted send and a delivered message are different states; a delivery record does not prove the recipient read it.

Do not resend a message merely because a generation job succeeded without visible mail. Inspect the delivery status and recipient first. Repeated sends can create duplicates.

## Pause or repair

Use the channel's enabled control to stop future use where offered. If a message is not handled, check the channel status, verified identity, workspace access and available credits. For integration-specific failures, also check the relevant connected account.
